With an illustrious history in the Jetski industry, Seadoo has managed in a short time to monopolize the global market. Its strong values and quality products were enough to bring Seadoo to the top choice of the water sports loving buying public. A company that wants to respect itself, however, should also ensure its customer a solid after-sale support in parts and accessories. The stakes are high! An online shop that would be able to tap into millions of spare part codes and give them to visitors in as simple and efficient a way as possible.
The assignment of such a project to our company and the trust of the local Seadoo representative was crucial to the success of the project. Only Magento could get us out of the predicament and once again we were delighted to invest in training and experience on this platform.
Our first focus was on the design and development of a specialized extension that would be able to regularly update the database with millions of spare part codes and their replacements. Updating the database was of high importance for the success of the project as visitors should be able to quickly and efficiently find the spare part they are interested in from both old and new Seadoo models.
The second challenge for the BitMyJob team was to design an online store that was simple, fast and functional, with the main goal of providing an easy way to search and purchase a spare part. In conjunction with the development team, special attention was given to the frontend design and the results were amazing! We not only managed to make the information easily searchable, but we pioneered the search for it from mobile devices as well, giving an extremely high conversion rate since the majority of visitors were mobile device based.
Today, Seadoo-parts’ online parts store has a dynamic presence in the European market and offers an excellent multi-store experience (multi-currency and multi-language) that only Magento would be able to offer!
